To further improve the consistency of plastic component assembly, Weisswasser has added several imported ultrasonic welding systems to its production facilities.

The new equipment is used for the precise joining of selected plastic parts in water purification products, including components that require stable positioning, controlled welding parameters and a clean finished appearance.
During operation, the equipment applies high-frequency vibration and controlled pressure to the contact surface of the plastic parts, creating a firm joint without the use of adhesives or additional fasteners. Dedicated fixtures help maintain consistent positioning during batch production.
The introduction of these systems allows welding time, energy and pressure-related parameters to be managed more accurately, supporting greater process consistency across repeated production runs.
After welding, relevant components still undergo the required sealing, water-running or pressure inspections before moving to the next production stage.
For Weisswasser, equipment upgrades are not made simply to increase capacity. They are part of an ongoing effort to make manufacturing processes more stable, repeatable and easier to control.
